Key Facts

PROJECT – 01

  • Scale: 3,956 hectares of strategic grasslands acquired.

  • Proven Execution: 2,717 hectares planted (Project I successfully completed).

  • Certified Excellence: FSC certified, demonstrating best-in-class sustainable forest management.

  • Social Impact: We operate in rural areas facing exceptionally high poverty and unemployment rates. By employing over 320 people during planting seasons, we support local families and businesses. We also deliver community education programs in partnership with Santo Tomas University.

  • Best in Class’ Teak: Our nurseries produce Colombia's finest teak seedlings, sourced from the renowned 2009/10 “Best of Teak in Colombia” identification program.

  • Environmental Impact: We actively maximize carbon sequestration through strategic land acquisition and biodiversity support. We designate natural forest conservation areas on our farms, protect wildlife corridors (including jaguar habitats in Magdalena), conserve native tree species, and cultivate the local Melipona bee population on our first farm.

  • A Global Standard: Project I is the first pillar in achieving our vision of a Colombian teak sector of excellence, serving as a global benchmark for sustainable tropical hardwood investment.

  • Next Phase: Fundraising for Project II launched on October 20, 2025, for execution in 2026.
