The rare melipona bee

It all began with a wonderful treasure of nature we found years ago in our Sierradentro farm, we decided to keep the bee hives to keep them as part as a key natural component to our lands.

Handled by the caring hands of our bees expert, the meliponinas are taken care with the highest technical standards to guarantee their wellbeing. The honey production is a fact now, and we are proud to say we have 27 hives of different bee species in Sierradentro farm.

Melipona

The meliponas are stingless bees that produce a very high quality of honey. The bees we have in Sierradentro are the angelita, cargabarro & frieseomelitta species. They produce very specific amnounts of reach in nutrients honey. Their honey has anti-oxidant, anti-inflamatory, and immunostimulant properties among other amazing qualities for the sight and skin.
